Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That the general statutes be amended to improve oral health 1 outcomes for children by (1) increasing Medicaid reimbursement rates 2 for preventive services such as dental sealants and fluoride varnish 3 treatments, (2) expanding the Access for Baby Care Program to older 4 children, and (3) providing dental benefits under the state medical 5 assistance program to all Connecticut residents who are income eligible 6 up to age twenty-one, regardless of immigration status. 7 Statement of Purpose: To improve oral health outcomes for children.
