22 | 22 | Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General | |
23 | 23 | Assembly convened: | |

25 | 25 | That title 4 of the general statutes be amended to require the Secretary 1 | |
26 | 26 | of the Office of Policy and Management, in consultation with 2 | |
27 | 27 | representatives of nonprofit human services providers, to (1) review, 3 | |
28 | 28 | not later than January 1, 2026, and every five years thereafter, not less 4 | |
29 | 29 | than two of the state's purchase of service contracts and personal service 5 | |
30 | 30 | agreements with such providers to determine whether the rates such 6 | |
31 | 31 | providers are paid adequately compensate such providers, (2) report the 7 | |
32 | 32 | results of such review to the joint standing committees of the General 8 | |
33 | 33 | Assembly having cognizance of matters relating to appropriations, 9 | |
34 | 34 | government administration and elections and human services, and (3) 10 | |
35 | 35 | provide annual cost-of-living adjustments to such rates. 11 | |
