25 | 25 | That the recommendations of a benefits cliff study by the two-1 | |
26 | 26 | generational initiative established pursuant to section 17b-112l of the 2 | |
27 | 27 | general statutes be implemented by (1) establishing, not later than 3 | |
28 | 28 | January 1, 2026, a three-year pilot program to mitigate the effects of the 4 | |
29 | 29 | benefits cliff on two hundred eligible families participating in public 5 | |
30 | 30 | assistance programs, and (2) a report by the two-generational initiative 6 | |
31 | 31 | not later than January 1, 2028, on the status of the program to be filed 7 | |
32 | 32 | with the joint standing committees of the General Assembly having 8 | |
33 | 33 | cognizance of matters relating to appropriations and the budgets of state 9 | |
34 | 34 | agencies, children, labor and public employees and human services. 10 | |
