2020 AN ACT ESTABLISHING A STATE -WIDE SPOTTED LANTERNFLY

2222 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General

2525 That the general statutes be amended to establish a state-wide 1
2626 spotted lanternfly control program through a two-hundred-fifty-2
2727 thousand-dollar fund that enables municipalities to apply for grants of 3
2828 up to five thousand dollars for the purpose of control efforts such as tree 4
2929 bands and traps, approved insecticide applications and visual 5
3030 reconnaissance surveys and egg mass scraping. 6
3131 Statement of Purpose:
3232 To provide funding for spotted lanternfly control efforts.
