1818 AN ACT CONCERNING THE DEPLOYMENT OF SOLAR ENERGY
1919 SOURCES IN THE STATE.
2020 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General

2323 That the general statutes be amended to (1) set a goal of five hundred 1
2424 megawatts of solar photovoltaic electricity generation in the state not 2
2525 later than the year 2027, (2) remove the capacity limit on the Non-3
2626 residential Renewable Energy Solutions Program, (3) extend the 4
2727 duration of the Shared Clean Energy Facility Program, (4) impose a 5
2828 uniform capacity tax for grid-scale solar photovoltaic installations, (5) 6
2929 streamline the process by which solar photovoltaic facilities are 7
3030 connected to the grid, and (6) create a solar advancement commission 8
3131 for the purpose of making policy recommendations concerning solar 9
3232 deployment in the state. 10
3333 Statement of Purpose:
3434 To (1) set a goal of five hundred megawatts of solar photovoltaic
