AN ACT CONCERNING THE INCOME THRESHOLD FOR TENANTS RENTING A DWELLING UNIT IN A SET-ASIDE DEVELOPMENT. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That section 8-30g of the general statutes be amended to permit any 1 person or family renting a dwelling unit in a set-aside development to 2 continue renting such dwelling unit for not more than three years after 3 such person's or family's income exceeds an amount that would 4 otherwise disqualify such person or family from renting such dwelling 5 unit. 6 Statement of Purpose: To permit a tenant renting a dwelling unit in a set-aside development to continue renting such dwelling unit for three years after such tenant's income exceeds the statutory income threshold.
