20 | 20 | Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General | |
21 | 21 | Assembly convened: | |

23 | 23 | That sections 31-57r to 31-57w, inclusive, of the general statutes be 1 | |
24 | 24 | amended to require municipalities to provide paid sick leave to their 2 | |
25 | 25 | employees who do not currently receive at least forty hours of paid 3 | |
26 | 26 | leave. Such requirement shall not supersede any collective bargaining 4 | |
27 | 27 | agreement or employer policy regarding incremental usage of paid sick 5 | |
28 | 28 | leave or the requirement of a doctor's note when using paid sick leave. 6 | |
