22 | 22 | That the general statutes be amended to require that (1) the 1 | |
23 | 23 | Department of Correction provide staff twenty-four hours each day in 2 | |
24 | 24 | any halfway house, (2) residents in a halfway house be entitled to 3 | |
25 | 25 | summary process, and (3) upon closure of a halfway house, the state 4 | |
26 | 26 | have full financial responsibility to keep a halfway house operational 5 | |
27 | 27 | until each resident is housed in an alternative placement. 6 | |
