1818 AN ACT CONCERNING VACCINE AVAILABILITY AND
1919 AFFORDABILITY.
2020 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
2121 Assembly convened:

2323 That the general statutes be amended to (1) require reimbursement to 1
2424 each local health department and health district for the full cost, 2
2525 including, but not limited to, administrative costs, for all vaccines 3
2626 administered by such department or district, (2) require the 4
2727 Commissioner of Public Health to implement an annual public 5
2828 education campaign to educate state residents about free and low-cost 6
2929 vaccines available through the vaccines for children program, (3) 7
3030 require the Commissioner of Public Health to develop training for, and 8
3131 provide technical assistance to, each local health department and health 9
3232 district relating to billing and insurance for vaccines, and (4) eliminate 10
3333 penalties for local health departments and health districts that carry 11

4040 To promote vaccine availability and affordability by (1) supporting
