24 | 24 | That the general statutes be amended to require the creation of (1) a 1 | |
25 | 25 | database of the criminal history records of any patient provided home 2 | |
26 | 26 | health care or hospice care through a home health care agency, hospice 3 | |
27 | 27 | agency or home health aide, accessible to any worker providing such 4 | |
28 | 28 | care, and (2) a telephone hotline and Internet web site for individuals to 5 | |
29 | 29 | report violent incidents involving any patient provided home health 6 | |
30 | 30 | care that did not result in an arrest and such incidents to be added to 7 | |
31 | 31 | such database. 8 | |

33 | 33 | To ensure the safety of home health care workers by providing them | |
34 | 34 | access to the criminal background information and violent incident | |
35 | 35 | reports of their patients. |
