| 23 | 23 | to negotiate and enter into agreements on behalf of the state of 2 | |
| 24 | 24 | Connecticut with the appropriate authorities of any state of the United 3 | |
| 25 | 25 | States, or any political subdivision thereof, granting reciprocity to any 4 | |
| 26 | 26 | person with a permit or certificate to carry a firearm, provided such state 5 | |
| 27 | 27 | or political subdivision has substantially similar standards for age, 6 | |
