| 23 | 23 | That chapter 104 of the general statutes be amended to provide that 1 | |
| 24 | 24 | any fire department that hires a firefighter who received firefighter 2 | |
| 25 | 25 | certification not earlier than two years before the date when such fire 3 | |
| 26 | 26 | department hires such firefighter shall reimburse fifty per cent of the 4 | |
| 27 | 27 | total cost of such certification to any other fire department that 5 | |
| 28 | 28 | employed such firefighter during such two-year period and paid for 6 | |
