1818 AN ACT CONCERNING RECIPROCAL AGREEMENTS WITH OTHER
1919 STATES REGARDING THE MUTUAL ENFORCEMENT OF
2020 DELINQUENT MOTOR VEHICLE PROPERTY TAXES.
2121 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
2222 Assembly convened:

2424 That title 14 of the general statutes be amended to require the 1
2525 Commissioner of Motor Vehicles to enter into reciprocal agreements 2
2626 with other states providing for the mutual enforcement of delinquent 3
2727 motor vehicle property taxes so that persons with delinquent motor 4
2828 vehicle property taxes in Connecticut may not register a vehicle in such 5
2929 other state until such delinquent motor vehicle property taxes are paid 6
3030 and vice versa. 7
3131 Statement of Purpose:
3232 To require the Commissioner of Motor Vehicles to enter into reciprocal
3333 agreements with other states regarding the mutual enforcement of
3434 delinquent motor vehicle property taxes.
