2424 AN ACT CONCERNING PEDESTRIAN AND BICYCLIST SAFETY.
2525 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
2626 Assembly convened:

2828 That the general statutes be amended to (1) require the Department 1
2929 of Transportation to erect signage and implement a public education 2
3030 campaign to ensure the safety of pedestrians and bicyclists sharing the 3
3131 roadways with vehicles, and (2) develop a framework that permits 4
3232 pedestrians to report instances of unsafe driving and use the data from 5
3333 such reports to implement traffic enforcement practices and 6
3434 technologies to improve pedestrian and bicyclist safety. 7
3535 Statement of Purpose:
3636 To improve pedestrian and bicyclist safety, educate motor vehicle
3737 operators and report instances of unsafe driving.
