1818 AN ACT ESTABLISHING A FORGIVABLE LOAN PROGRAM FOR
1919 CERTAIN INDIVIDUALS WHO START A BUSINESS IN THE TRADES.
2020 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
2121 Assembly convened:

2323 That the general statutes be amended to establish a forgivable loan 1
2424 program that provides loans to be used on tools, equipment and other 2
2525 similar expenses associated with establishing a business in the trades, 3
2626 for individuals who (A) graduated from a Connecticut high school or 4
2727 trade school, and (B) establish a business in the trades in Connecticut 5
2828 that operates continuously for not less than ten years. 6
2929 Statement of Purpose:
3030 To encourage individuals working in trades in the state to establish and
3131 operate businesses in Connecticut by creating a forgivable loan
3232 program.
