21 | 21 | Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General | |

24 | 24 | That the general statutes be amended to (1) authorize one or more 1 | |
25 | 25 | department heads, as defined in section 4-5 of the general statutes, to 2 | |
26 | 26 | coordinate in providing a twenty-foot insulated prefabricated home, 3 | |
27 | 27 | with two bedrooms, a full kitchen and a bathroom, to each veteran 4 | |
28 | 28 | whose income falls below the federal poverty line and who can 5 | |
29 | 29 | demonstrate having been without a permanent residence for the 6 | |
30 | 30 | immediately preceding ninety days, (2) provide for the delivery of such 7 | |
31 | 31 | prefabricated home to such veteran at any property owned by such 8 | |
32 | 32 | veteran or by a third party with such third party's consent, and (3) 9 | |
33 | 33 | require the municipality in which any such property is located, in the 10 | |
34 | 34 | event such prefabricated home fails to comply with such municipality's 11 | |
35 | 35 | zoning regulations, to identify an alternative location for such 12 | |
36 | 36 | prefabricated home not later than sixty days after a determination of 13 | |
