1919 AN ACT PROVIDING HOUSING FOR CERTAIN IMPOVERISHED
2020 VETERANS.
2121 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
2222 Assembly convened:

2424 That the general statutes be amended to (1) authorize one or more 1
2525 department heads, as defined in section 4-5 of the general statutes, to 2
2626 coordinate in providing a twenty-foot insulated prefabricated home, 3
2727 with two bedrooms, a full kitchen and a bathroom, to each veteran 4
2828 whose income falls below the federal poverty line and who can 5
2929 demonstrate having been without a permanent residence for the 6
3030 immediately preceding ninety days, (2) provide for the delivery of such 7
3131 prefabricated home to such veteran at any property owned by such 8
3232 veteran or by a third party with such third party's consent, and (3) 9
3333 require the municipality in which any such property is located, in the 10
3434 event such prefabricated home fails to comply with such municipality's 11
3535 zoning regulations, to identify an alternative location for such 12
3636 prefabricated home not later than sixty days after a determination of 13
