AN ACT CONCERNING A STUDY OF NEW REVENUE STREAMS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
Section 1. (Effective from passage) The chairpersons and ranking 1
members of the joint standing committee of the General Assembly 2
having cognizance of matters relating to finance, revenue and bonding, 3
in consultation with the Commissioner of Revenue Services, shall study 4
possible new revenue streams. Not later than January 1, 2026, the 5
chairpersons and ranking members shall jointly submit a report, in 6
accordance with the provisions of section 11-4a of the general statutes, 7
on the group's findings and recommendations to the joint standing 8
committee of the General Assembly having cognizance of matters 9
relating to finance, revenue and bonding. 10
This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following
sections:

Statement of Purpose:
To require the chairpersons and ranking members of the legislative
Finance Committee to study possible new revenue streams.
