AN ACT CONCERNING THE ISSUANCE OF A NEW PERMIT FOR THE
CONSTRUCTION OF A DOCK WHEN THE FORMER PERMIT HAS
EXPIRED.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require the Department of 1
Energy and Environmental Protection to issue a new permit for the 2
construction of a dock within sixty days to a resident who was not able 3
to construct such dock under a formerly issued permit that has since 4
expired, provided there are no changes in the application from the 5
formerly approved permit. 6
Statement of Purpose:
To expedite the issuance of a new permit to build a dock when the
former permit has expired but there are no changes to the application
for such permit.
