1818 AN ACT CONCERNING CYBERBULLYING.
1919 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
2020 Assembly convened:

2222 That the general statutes be amended to require each social media 1
2323 provider doing business in this state to (1) enforce minimum age 2
2424 requirements for persons using such provider's social media platform, 3
2525 (2) develop content filters for younger users to curb cyberbullying on 4
2626 such provider's social media platform, and (3) agree to any choice of law 5
2727 provision contained in a user agreement that would subject such 6
2828 provider to liability in this state for damages incurred by a person in this 7
2929 state due to cyberbullying on such provider's social media platform. 8
3030 Statement of Purpose:
3131 To establish additional protections against cyberbullying on social
