1818 AN ACT CONCERNING THE ASSESSMENT OF FOUR POINTS ON AN
1919 OPERATOR'S LICENSE AFTER USING A HAND -HELD MOBILE

2222 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
2323 Assembly convened:

2525 That section 14-137a of the general statutes be amended to require 1
2626 that four points, instead of one point, be assessed against a motor vehicle 2
2727 operator's license after the operator is found to have violated the 3
2828 provisions of section 14-296aa of the general statutes. 4
2929 Statement of Purpose:
3030 To increase the points assessed against a motor vehicle operator's license
3131 after violating the prohibition on using a hand-held mobile telephone or
3232 mobile electronic device while operating a motor vehicle from one point
3333 to four points.
