Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:

That section 53-344 of the general statutes be amended to provide an 1
exemption to the requirement that a seller's agent or employee request 2
that each person intending to purchase cigarettes or a tobacco product 3
present a driver's license or identity card to establish that such person is 4
twenty-one years of age or older if such person has previously presented 5
to the agent or employee a driver's license or identity card to establish 6

years of age or older.
