| 28 | 28 | That the general statutes be amended to provide that a 1 | |
| 29 | 29 | telecommunications company or streaming service provider doing 2 | |
| 30 | 30 | business in this state shall (1) provide to a consumer who cancels a 3 | |
| 31 | 31 | monthly subscription a pro rata rebate for all days following the date on 4 | |
| 32 | 32 | which the consumer requests to cancel such subscription, (2) provide at 5 | |
| 33 | 33 | least ninety days' advance notice to a consumer disclosing any planned 6 | |
| 34 | 34 | pricing or fee change, unless such change is required due to a state or 7 | |
| 35 | 35 | federally mandated charge, and (3) not impose any cancellation fee on a 8 | |
| 36 | 36 | consumer unless such cancellation fee is imposed pursuant to a contract 9 | |
| 37 | 37 | between the telecommunications company or streaming service 10 | |
