1818 AN ACT CONCERNING PROPERTY TAX EXEMPTIONS FOR SOLAR
1919 PROJECTS.
2020 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
2121 Assembly convened:

2323 That the general statutes be amended to require that a property of 1
2424 five acres or more, which the owner divides into multiple lots of less 2
2525 than five acres for the purpose of leasing land for solar projects, shall be 3
2626 treated as one property for property tax purposes, and that each such 4
2727 lot shall be required to have separate points of ingress and egress. 5
2828 Statement of Purpose:
2929 To require that a property of five acres or more, which the owner divides
3030 into multiple lots of less than five acres for the purpose of leasing land
3131 for solar projects, shall be treated as one property for property tax
3232 purposes, and that each such lot shall be required to have separate
3333 points of ingress and egress.
