AN ACT AUTHORIZING BONDS OF THE STATE TO IMPROVE THE RECREATIONAL FACILITIES AT CAMP OAKDALE IN THE TOWN OF MONTVILLE. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That the State Bond Commission be empowered to authorize the 1 issuance of bonds of the state in accordance with section 3-20 of the 2 general statutes, in principal amounts not exceeding in the aggregate 3 four million one hundred fifty thousand dollars, the proceeds of which 4 shall be used by the Department of Economic and Community 5 Development for the purpose of providing a grant-in-aid to the town of 6 Montville for improvements to the recreational facilities at Camp 7 Oakdale, including, but not limited to, paving the parking area, fixing 8 draining issues in field number seven, installing a splash pad, 9 upgrading the lighting and paving the outer trail for accessibility for 10 persons with disabilities. 11 Proposed Bill No. 915 LCO No. 2653 2 of 2 Statement of Purpose: To provide funding to improve the recreational facilities at Camp Oakdale in the town of Montville.
