AN ACT AUTHORIZING BONDS OF THE STATE FOR THE
IMPLEMENTATION AND CONSTRUCTION OF A SEWER AND WATER
LINE IN THE TOWN OF FRANKLIN.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the State Bond Commission be empowered to authorize the 1
issuance of bonds of the state in accordance with section 3-20 of the 2
general statutes, in principal amounts not exceeding in the aggregate 3
two million dollars, the proceeds of which shall be used by the 4
Department of Energy and Environmental Protection for the purpose of 5
providing a grant-in-aid to the town of Franklin for the implementation 6
and construction of a sewer and water line in such town with a 7
connection into the city of Norwich. 8
Statement of Purpose:
To provide funding for the implementation and construction of a sewer
and water line in the town of Franklin.
