AN ACT CONCERNING LIABILITY FOR AGRICULTURAL 
OPERATIONS ENGAGED IN AGRITOURISM. 
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General 
Assembly convened: 
 
That chapter 925 of the general statutes be amended to provide that 1 
a visitor, customer or other invitee of an agricultural operation engaged 2 
in agritourism shall assume the risk of injury to their person arising out 3 
of any of the inherent risks of agritourism activities, provided such 4 
agricultural operation posts a clearly visible sign advising such visitor, 5 
customer or other invitee that they are assuming such risks. 6 
Statement of Purpose:   
To recognize the inherent risks in participating in agritourism activities 
and limit the liability of agricultural operators engaged in agritourism 
in the state.
