AN ACT PROVIDING FUNDING FOR THE MAINTENANCE OF
CERTAIN TRAILS BY THE DEPARTMENT OF ENERGY AND
ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the sum of thirty million dollars be appropriated to the 1
Department of Energy and Environmental Protection, from the General 2
Fund, for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2026, for the purpose of capital 3
improvements to state-owned soft-surface trails, including, but not 4
limited to, repairs, upgrades and enhancements necessary to bring the 5
trails up to standard for public use. Additionally, that the sum of three 6
million dollars be appropriated for each fiscal year thereafter from the 7
General Fund to the Department of Energy and Environmental 8
Protection for the maintenance of such trails. 9
Statement of Purpose:
To fund the maintenance of certain trails by the Department of Energy
and Environmental Protection.
