AN ACT APPROPRIATING FUNDS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF
TINY HOMES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
Section 1. (Effective July 1, 2025) The sum of ten million dollars is 1
appropriated to the Department of Housing from the General Fund, for 2
the fiscal year ending June 30, 2026, to provide or grants-in-aid to 3
private and nonprofit entities for the construction of five hundred 4
permanent tiny homes that are connected to private water or septic 5
systems or to water, sewer and electric utilities. 6
This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following
sections:
Section 1 July 1, 2025 New section
