932 AN ACT CONCERNING EMERGENCY NONPROFIT ASSISTANCE.
1033 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
1134 Assembly convened:

13-Section 1. (Effective from passage) (a) There is established an account to
14-be known as the "emergency nonprofit assistance account", which shall
15-be a separate, nonlapsing account. The amount of three million dollars
16-shall be transferred to the account from the General Fund, provided the
17-cumulative monthly statements of revenue and expenditures prepared
18-by the Secretary of the Office of Policy and Management on or about
19-April 20, 2025, pursuant to subdivision (4) of section 4-66 of the general
20-statutes project a surplus of at least said amount for the fiscal year
21-ending June 30, 2025. The account shall also contain all other moneys
22-required or permitted by law to be deposited in the account.
23-(b) Moneys in the account shall be expended by the Chief Court
24-Administrator, during the fiscal year ending June 30, 2025, as follows:

54+(1) 45.3 per cent as grants to nonprofit organizations providing 13
55+services to the LGBTQ+ community; 14
56+(2) 26.7 per cent as grants to nonprofit organizations providing 15
57+reproductive health care services; 16
58+(3) 22.1 per cent as grants to nonprofit organizations providing 17
59+refugee and immigration assistance; 18
60+(4) 2.1 per cent as grants to nonprofit organizations providing 19
61+community and youth empowerment services; and 20
62+(5) 3.8 per cent to be retained by the Judicial Department for 21
63+administration. 22
64+This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following
