| 16 | 25 | Section 1. (Effective from passage) The Commissioner of Economic and 1 | |
| 17 | 26 | Community Development shall conduct a study concerning the 2 | |
| 18 | 27 | feasibility and potential benefits of expanding the eligibility 3 | |
| 19 | 28 | requirements for participation in brownfield programs in the state, 4 | |
| 20 | 29 | including, but not limited to, the abandoned brownfield cleanup 5 | |
| 21 | 30 | program established pursuant to section 32-768 of the general statutes 6 | |

| 31 | + | or the brownfield remediation and revitalization program established 7 | |
| 23 | 32 | pursuant to section 32-769 of the general statutes, to municipalities that 8 | |
