AN ACT CONCERNING AN AMENDMENT TO THE FREEDOM OF
INFORMATION ACT CONCERNING EDUCATION RECORDS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
Section 1. Subdivision (17) of subsection (b) of section 1-210 of the 1
general statutes is repealed and the following is substituted in lieu 2
thereof (Effective July 1, 2025): 3
(17) [Educational] Education records which are not subject to 4
disclosure under the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act, 20 5
USC 1232g, revised to January 3, 2012; 6
This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following
sections:
Section 1 July 1, 2025 1-210(b)(17)
