Emergency Act of 2024". 24 Sec. 2. Pursuant to D.C. Code 1-204.5(b)(2)(B); D. C. Code 1-204.51(b)(2)(B)(C) (1) and 25 D.C. Code 2-352.02(b)(l) the Council approves Contract No. PO-GF-2024-P-0001-NJH by and 26 between the University of the District of Columbia and Ellucian Company LLC. in the amount of 27 $3,181,429 for the renewal and continuation of software licensing, application hosting, and 28 maintenance to support the University's Banner Enterprise Resource Planning system. 29 Without Council approval on an emergency basis, critical support services necessary to the vital 30 operation of ERP software and related cloud hosting and maintenance services under the existing 31 contract is jeopardized, by creating a potential break in service before the effective start of a new 32 contract. Sec.3. The Council adopts the fiscal impact statement of the Chief Financial Officer as 1 the fiscal impact statement required by section 4a of the General Legislative Procedures Act of 2 1975, approved October 6, 2006 ( 120 Stat. 2038; D.C. Official Code §1- 301.47a). 3 Sec.4. This act shall take effect following approval by the Mayor (or in the event of veto 4 by the Mayor, action by the Council to override the veto), and shall remain in effect for no longer 5 than 90 days, as provided for emergency acts of the Council of the District of Columbia in 6 section 412(a) of the District of Columbia Home Rule Act, approved December 24, 1973 (87 7 Stat. 788; D.C. Official Code § 1- 204.12(a)). . 8
