23 | 23 | | WHEREAS, the Office of the Zoning Administrator, a division within the Department of 21 |

24 | 24 | | Buildings, is charged with administering, interpreting, and enforcing zoning regulations for the 22 |

25 | 25 | | District, including the review of building permits and certificates of occupancy applications for 23 |
---|
26 | 26 | | conformance with the zoning regulations. In addition, the Office employs enforcement staff who, 24 |
---|
27 | 27 | | on the basis of verified complaints, go out to determine if violations exist; 25 |

29 | 29 | | WHEREAS, Mr. LeGrant has a background in City Planning and holds two degrees in the 27 |

30 | 30 | | field, including a Bachelor’s degree in City and Regional Planning from California Polytechnic 28 |

31 | 31 | | State University at San Luis Obispo, and a Master’s degree in City Planning from the University 29 |
