16- WHEREAS, Brian Robinson, Jr. was born in Tuscaloosa, Alabama in 1999;

18- WHEREAS, Mr. Robinson developed a love of the game of football at an early age;

20- WHEREAS, Mr. Robinson attended Hillcrest High School, where he rushed for 990 yards
21-and 18 touchdowns in his senior year;

23- WHEREAS, Mr. Robinson matriculated to the University of Alabama, where he was rated
24-a four-star recruit, and played on the team from 2017- 2021;

26- WHEREAS, while at the University of Alabama, Mr. Robinson was a two- time College
27-Football Playoff (CFP) national champion, made the All -Southeastern Conference (All-SEC) first
28-team in 2021, and was the 2021 Cotton Bowl Classic MVP, rushing for 2,704 yards and 29
29-touchdowns over the course of his college career;

57-resolution may be cited as the “Brian Robinson, Jr. Ceremonial Recognition Resolution of 2024”.
58-Sec. 2. The Council recognizes and commends Brian Robinson, Jr. for the extraordinary
59-resilience he has shown in pursuing his career in the NFL, even in the face of a potential tragedy,
60-and wishes him continued success in his professional life.
61-Sec. 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately.
