49	49	21 resolution may be cited as the "District of Columbia Board of Ethics and Government

111	111	Melissa Tucker is an Attorney Advisor of the Office of Congressional
112	112	Affairs under the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services,
113	113	Office of Inspector General (OIG).
114	114	Ms. Tucker advises Congress about proposed legislation and
115	115	responds to Congressional inquiries regarding OIG audits,
116	116	evaluations, and investigations. Prior to her time with the OIG, Ms.
117	117	Tucker was an Associate Director with the Mayor's Office of Legal
118	118	Counsel. She oversaw the analysis and determination of all Freedom
119	119	of Information Act appeals submitted to the Mayor, while ensuring
120	120	transparency. Ms. Tucker has also served as an attorney advisor with
121	121	the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights, assistant general counsel with
122	122	the Council of the District of Columbia, and as an assistant city solicitor and municipal integrity
123	123	officer with the City of Providence Department of Law in Rhode Island. During Ms. Tucker's
124	124	time with DC Council, she assisted with developing the Council's first Code of Official Conduct,
125	125	and she advised Council members and staff regarding compliance with ethic laws.
126	126	A Ward 3 resident, Ms. Tucker received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Pennsylvania
127	127	and a Juris Doctor from Fordham University School of Law. Ms. Tucker is admitted to the bar in
