To confirm the appointment of M s. Toya Carmichael to the Rental Housing Commission.
RESOLVED, BY THE COUNCIL OF THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA, That this
resolution may be cited as the “Rental Housing Commission Toya Carmichael Confirmation
Resolution of 2023”.
Sec. 2. The Council of the District of Columbia confirms the appointment of:
Ms. Toya Carmichael
Texas Avenue, SE
Washington, DC 20019
(Ward 7 )
as a member of the Rental Housing Commission , established by section 201 of the Rental
Housing Act of 1985, effective July 17, 1985 (D.C. Law 6- 10; D.C. Official Code § 42- 3502.01) ,
succeeding Michael Spencer, for a term to end July 18, 2024.
Sec. 3. The Council shall transmit a copy of this resolution, upon its adoption, to the
nominee and to the Office of the Mayor.
Sec. 4. This resolution shall take effect immediately.
