To confirm the appointment of Mr. Delano Hunter as Director of the Department of General
Services.
RESOLVED, BY THE COUNCIL OF THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA, That this
resolution may be cited as the “Director of the Department of General Services Delano Hunter
Confirmation Resolution of 2023”.
Sec. 2. The Council of the District of Columbia confirms the appointment of:
Mr. Delano Hunter
South Dakota Avenue, NE
Washington, DC 20018
(Ward 5)
as the Director of the Department of General Services, established by section 1022 of the
Department of General Services Establishment Act of 2011, effective September 14, 2011 (D.C.
Law 19-21; D.C. Official Code § 10-551.01), to serve at the pleasure of the Mayor.
Sec. 3. The Council shall transmit a copy of this resolution, upon its adoption, to the
nominee and the Mayor.
Sec. 4. This resolution shall take effect immediately.
