17-To reappoint Councilmember Anita Bonds as the Council representative to the Commission on

20-RESOLVED, BY THE COUNCIL OF THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA, That this
21-resolution may be cited as the “Commission on Aging Councilmember Anita Bonds
22-Reappointment Resolution of 2023”.

24-Sec. 2. The Council of the District of Columbia appoints:
25- Councilmember Anita Bonds
26- Bates Street, NW
27- Washington, DC 20001
28- (Ward 5)

30-as the Council representative to the Commission on Aging, established by section 401 of the
31-District of Columbia Act on the Aging, effective October 29, 1975 (D.C. Law 1-24; D.C.
32-Official Code § 7-504.01), to serve a 3-year term to end October 28, 2026.

34- Sec. 3. The Council shall transmit a copy of this resolution, upon its adoption, to the
35-appointee, to the chairperson of the Commission on Aging, and to the Office of the Mayor.

37- Sec. 4. This resolution shall take effect immediately.
