IN THE COUNCIL OF THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA
November 7, 2023
To reappoint Councilmember Anita Bonds as the Council representative to the Commission on
Aging.
RESOLVED, BY THE COUNCIL OF THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA, That this
resolution may be cited as the “Commission on Aging Councilmember Anita Bonds
Reappointment Resolution of 2023”.
Sec. 2. The Council of the District of Columbia appoints:
Councilmember Anita Bonds
Bates Street, NW
Washington, DC 20001
(Ward 5)
as the Council representative to the Commission on Aging, established by section 401 of the
District of Columbia Act on the Aging, effective October 29, 1975 (D.C. Law 1-24; D.C.
Official Code § 7-504.01), to serve a 3-year term to end October 28, 2026.
Sec. 3. The Council shall transmit a copy of this resolution, upon its adoption, to the
appointee, to the chairperson of the Commission on Aging, and to the Office of the Mayor.
Sec. 4. This resolution shall take effect immediately.
