1515 In accordance with the provisions of D.C. Official Code §1-617.15(a), I am forwarding to you the
1616 following Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) for introduction and approval by the Council of the
1717 District of Columbia. The resolution is as follows:
1818 “Collective Bargaining Agreement between the University of the District of Columbia and the Service
1919 Employees International Union (SEIU) Local 500, CtW Approval Resolution of 2023

2121 The proposed collective bargaining agreement would cover compensation and terms and conditions of
2222 employment for members of the bargaining unit for the period October 1, 2022, through September 30,

2424 include any retroactive salary adjustments for AY 2022-2023. Funds would be
2525 sourced from the university’s operating budget.
2626 Considering the significance of this action to our SEIU employees, I respectfully request that the
