106	106	The Advisory Council on Historic Preservation (ACHP) is an independent federal agency that promotes the
107	107	preservation, enhancement, and sustainable use of our nation’s diverse historic resources, and advises the
108	108	President and the Congress on national historic preservation policy. In my role as Program Analyst and
109	109	Liaison to the Bureau of Land Management (BLM), I provide expert technical advice and consultation
110	110	assistance for the implementation of the BLM's cultural resource management program, ensuring the agency
111	111	meets its statutory and regulatory responsibilities under Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act
112	112	(NHPA), and in support of its multiple use and sustained yield mandate. Responsibilities include:
113	113	•Serve as subject matter expert and primary ACHP contact to advise BLM staﬀ on compliance with
114	114	Section 106 of the NHPA and its implementing regulations, 36 CFR Part 800, to ensure the BLM i

117	117	•Provide technical support to BLM staﬀ on major projects and programmatic initiatives, including
