Dr. Amber Thornton 
 
Dr. Amber Thornton is a clinical psychologist at National Children’s 
Hospital, and a wellness consultant, 	author, educator, media contributor, 
public speaker, and strong mental health advocate. 
Dr. Thornton is deeply passionate about working for the 	optimal mental 
health and well-being of children, parents, and families. She is the founder 
of the Know & G row Podcast, which explores motherhood, parenting, 
relationships, career, mental health, and the ongoing journey of personal 
evolution. 
A Ward 5 resident, Dr. Thornton earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Ohio State
