To confirm the reappointment of Mr. Richard Jackson to the District of Columbia Water and
Sewer Authority Board of Directors.
RESOLVED, BY THE COUNCIL OF THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA, That this
resolution may be cited as the “District of Columbia Water and Sewer Authority Board of
Directors Richard Jackson Confirmation Resolution of 2024”.
Sec. 2. The Council of the District of Columbia confirms the reappointment of:
Mr. Richard Jackson
B Street, SE
Washington, DC 20019
(Ward 7)
as the cabinet-level officer member of the Board of Directors of the District of Columbia Water
and Sewer Authority, in accordance with section 204 of the Water and Sewer Authority
Establishment and Department of Public Works Reorganization Act of 1996, effective April 18,
1996 (D.C. Law 11-111; D.C. Official Code § 34-2202.04), for a term to end September 12,
2028.
Sec. 3. The Council shall transmit a copy of this resolution, upon its adoption, to the
nominee and to the Office of the Mayor.
Sec. 4. This resolution shall take effect immediately.
