To confirm the re appointment of Mr. Jeffery H. Tignor to the Police Complaints Board.
RESOLVED, BY THE COUNCIL OF THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA, That this
resolution may be cited as the “Police Complaints Board Jeffrey H. Tignor Confirmation
Resolution of 2024”.
Sec. 2. The Council of the District of Columbia confirms the re appointment of:
Mr. Jeffery H. Tignor
Longfellow Street, NW
Washington, DC 20011
(Ward 4 )
as the Ward 4 member of the Police Complaints Board, established by s ection 5 of the Office of
Citizen Complaint Review Establishment Act of 1998, effective March 26, 1999 (D.C. Law 12- 208; D.C. Official Code § 5- 1104), for a term to end January 12, 2027.
Sec. 3. The Council shall transmit a copy of this resolution, upon its adoption, to the
nominee and to the Office of the Mayor.
Sec. 4. This resolution shall take effect immediately.
