90+RESOLVED, BY THE COUNCIL OF THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA, That this
91+resolution may be cited as the "Multiyear Contract No.

93+d/b/a Hexagon Corporation Emergency Declaration Resolution
94+of 2024".
95+Sec. 2. (a) There exists an immediate need to approve multiyear Contract No.
96+CWl 18505
97+with Intergraph Corporation d/b/a Hexagon Corporation to maintain and support the mission­
98+critical Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) system for the Office
99+of Unified Communications, and
100+to authorize payment for the goods and services to be received under the contract.

16- To declare the existence of an emergency with respect to the need to approve multiyear Contract
17-No. CW118505 with Intergraph Corporation d/b/a Hexagon Corporation to maintain and
18-support the mission- critical Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) system for the Office of
19-Unified Communications, and to authorize payment for the goods and services received
20-and to be received under the contract.
21- RESOLVED, BY THE COUNCIL OF THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA, That this
22-resolution may be cited as the “Multiyear Contract No. CW 118505 with Intergraph Corporation
23-d/b/a Hexagon Corporation Approval and Payment Authorization Emergency Declaration Resolution of 2024”.
24- Sec. 2. (a) There exists an immediate need to approve multiyear Contract No. CW118505
25-with Intergraph Corporation d/b/a Hexagon Corporation to maintain and support the mission-
26-critical Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) system for the Office of Unified Communications, and to authorize payment for the goods and services received and to be received under the contract .
27- (b) Under section 451 of the District of Columbia Home Rule Act, approved December
28-24, 1973 (87 Stat. 803; D.C. Official Code § 1- 204.51), Council approval is necessary as the
29-value of the contract is more than $1 million during a 12- month period.
30-(c) These critical services can only be obtained through an award of a multiyear contract
31-with Intergraph Corporation d/b/a Hexagon Corporation.
32- (d) Approval is necessary to allow the District to receive the benefit of these vital
33-services in a timely manner.
34- Sec 3. The Council determines that the circumstances enumerated in section 2 constitute
35-emergency circumstances making it necessary that the Multiyear Contract No. CW118505 with
36-Intergraph Corporation d/b/a Hexagon Corporation Approval and Payment Authorization Emergency Act of 2024 be adopted after a single reading.
37- Sec. 4. This resolution shall take effect immediately.
