17-WHEREAS, Jayden Daniels, born on December 18, 2000, in San Bernardino, California;

19-WHEREAS, Daniels played 3 seasons of college football at Arizona State University,
20-where he emerged as a bright young star, throwing for 17 touchdowns and rushing for an
21-additional 3 during his freshman year;

23-WHEREAS, in 2022, Daniels transferred to Louisiana State University (LSU), where he
24-continued to excel, culminating in a historic 2023 season in which he won the Heisman Trophy,
25-becoming the third player in LSU history to receive this honor;

27-WHEREAS, during the 2023 season at LSU, Daniels achieved remarkable statistics,
28-including 3,812 passing yards, 1,134 rushing yards, and 50 touchdowns, leading the Football
29-Bowl Subdivision (FBS) in total yards;

65-his outstanding accomplishments in the National Football League as a member of the
