31 | 31 | | Section 1. Section 112.219, Florida Statutes, is created 18 |

35 | 35 | | (1) Beginning July 1, 2022, the head of an employing 22 |

36 | 36 | | agency may elect to substitute verifiable, related work 23 |
---|
37 | 37 | | experience in lieu of postsecondary educational requirements for 24 |
---|
38 | 38 | | a position of employment if the person seeking the position of 25 |

53 | 53 | | required licensure, certification, or registration required for 28 |

55 | 55 | | agency and indicated in the advertised description of the 30 |

58 | 58 | | substitute related work experience for postsecondary educational 33 |

59 | 59 | | requirements, the employing agency must include, in all 34 |

60 | 60 | | advertisements for the position of employment made by the 35 |
---|
61 | 61 | | employing agency, a notice that such substitution is auth orized 36 |
---|
62 | | - | and a description of the related work experience equivalencies 37 |

63 | | - | that may be substituted for the required postsecondary 38 |

65 | | - | (4) This section does not abridge state and federal laws 40 |
