2323 Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida: 10

2525 Section 1. Present subsections (4) and (5) of section 12
2626 316.081, Florida Statutes, are redesignated as subsections (5) 13
2727 and (6), respectively, a new subsection (4) is added to that 14
2828 section, and present subsection (5) of that subsection is 15
2929 republished, to read: 16
3030 316.081 Driving on right side of roadway; exceptions. — 17
3131 (4) On a road, street, or highway having two or more lanes 18
3232 allowing movement in the same direction with a posted speed 19
3333 limit of at least 65 miles per hour, a driver may not 20
3434 continuously operate a motor vehicle in the furthermost left -21
3535 hand lane, except when overtaking and passing another vehicle, 22
3636 when preparing to exit the road, street, or highway, or when 23
3737 otherwise directed by an official traffic control device. This 24
3838 subsection does not apply to authorized emer gency vehicles and 25
