Present subsections (4) and (5) of section 12 316.081, Florida Statutes, are redesignated as subsections (5) 13 and (6), respectively, a new subsection (4) is added to that 14 section, and present subsection (5) of that subsection is 15 republished, to read: 16 316.081 Driving on right side of roadway; exceptions. — 17 (4) On a road, street, or highway having two or more lanes 18 allowing movement in the same direction with a posted speed 19 limit of at least 65 miles per hour, a driver may not 20 continuously operate a motor vehicle in the furthermost left -21 hand lane, except when overtaking and passing another vehicle, 22 when preparing to exit the road, street, or highway, or when 23 otherwise directed by an official traffic control device. This act shall take effect July 1, 2022. 31
