Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida: 9

Section 1. Subsection (9) is added to section 595.405, 11
Florida Statutes, to read: 12
595.405 School nutrition program requirements. — 13
(9) Each district school board shall provide the parent or 14
guardian of a student who is eligible for free or reduced -priced 15
meals with information on the Florida KidCare Program. 16
Section 2. This act shall take effect July 1, 2022. 17
